Pure, fresh and juicy dry white wine with the characteristic aroma of Riesling: floral nuances and fresh green fruit. The taste contains both fresh nuances and a ripe, round aftertaste.
Description
Markus Huber owns approximately 25 hectares of vineyard in the best locations in the Traisental and is now part of the Austrian premier league. Traisental is known for its highly calcareous soil. In addition to Gruner Veltliner, Huber also plants the Riesling grape. Climatologically, Traisental is reminiscent of Burgundy, which is located at the same latitude, with cool nights and warm days. In combination with the calcareous soil, Markus Huber makes a varietal and refined Riesling that ferments and matures exclusively in stainless steel tanks. The name Terraces refers to the vineyard plots that are planted in terraces on the steep hills.
