Barbera d'Alba Pelisa
Italian red wine with a fruity spicy scent and nuances of ripe red fruit and light vanilla. The taste is balanced and aromatic. Delicious with grilled dishes or, for example, fried sausage.
Roero Arneis from Canale
The vineyards of Francesco Carbone are located in the heart of the Roero region around the town of Canale. The wine region with its sandy and calcareous subsoil is best known for the excellent white Roero from the Arneis grape and the red Roero from the Nebbiolo grape. The latter gives a more accessible and rounder wine in this region than the Barolo, the famous wine region that lies against the Roero. Francesco also makes a delicious red wine from the barbera, the most widely planted grape in Piemonte. Only a small part of the harvest (30%) ripens in oak casks because Francesco mainly wants to make an elegant and smooth wine while retaining the beautiful scents of the barbera grape.
