Italian red wine with a fruity spicy scent and nuances of ripe red fruit and light vanilla. The taste is balanced and aromatic. Delicious with grilled dishes or for example fried sausage.

Roero Arneis from Canale

The vineyards of Francesco Carbone are located in the heart of the Roero region around the town of Canale. The wine region with its sandy and chalky soil is best known for its excellent white Roero from the Arneis grape and the red Roero from the Nebbiolo grape. The latter produces a more accessible and rounder wine in this region than the Barolo, the famous wine region that borders the Roero. Francesco also makes a delicious red wine from the Barbera, the most widely planted grape in Piemonte. Only a small part of the harvest (30%) matures in oak barrels because Francesco wants to make an elegant and supple wine while retaining the beautiful aromas of the Barbera grape.
