Fresh dry chardonnay from southern Italy with fine (tropical) fruit in the aroma and a juicy full taste. Fine as an aperitif but also good to combine with fresh cold starters or fish.

Description

The wine region of Puglia in southern Italy specializes in the production of red wines. The high temperatures seem less suitable for the cultivation of white grape varieties. Nevertheless, the Cantine Due Palme succeeds in making a wonderfully fresh Chardonnay. This is mainly due to optimal protection of the grapes against the hot sun by allowing sufficient leaves to grow on the vine. In addition, the grapes are harvested at night when it is cool with a harvester. The grapes are then fermented at a low temperature, which ensures expressive and pure aromas.
