David Nieuwoudt is currently the 5th generation owner of the beautiful Cederberg wine estate in the northern part of South Africa. In addition to Cederberg, David is also active in the southern and cool oceanfront Elim. This area is considered to be an up-and-comer when it comes to so-called cool-climate wines. No wonder that the Sauvignon grape is strongly represented here.

The beautifully expressive “Ghost Corner” is modernized in the tradition of other New World wines. After the harvest, an 8-hour soak with skin contact follows. Immediately afterwards, only the best free-flowing juice is fermented under low temperature. So there is no pressing! The result is an intensely pure and expressive white wine.
