Smooth and fresh
Wonderfully smooth fresh Italian red wine with a fruity scent and a very accessible taste. Lightly chilled, very tasty with summer salads, poultry and fish.
The Italian accompaniment to summer dishes
This fresh bardolino, scented with red fruit, is a nice accompaniment to various summer dishes. On a warm day, this wine tastes even better slightly chilled, something that is very common in the summer around Lake Garda. Tourists are often served thin light wine here.
However, the Bardolino of Monte del Frá is of a completely different level! In 2013, this successful winery received international recognition for its beautiful quality. The English Decanter Magazine placed them at the top of Bardolino. Marica Bonomo, the driving force behind this winery, has an excellent sense of how to achieve an accessible taste without losing individuality.
For red wine, this means that the autochthonous grapes corvina rondinella and a little sangiovese are harvested later and therefore riper than was usual in the past. The result: more softness and more beautiful fruit scents. Despite this, this wine only has a modest alcohol percentage: 12.5%.
Combines well with various fish dishes!
