A delicious Chardonnay
Italian white wine with the scent of caramel butter and overripe white fruit. The taste is wonderfully soft. Very tasty with lightly seasoned fish or poultry, but also delicious to drink on its own.
Description
The enthusiastic Massimo di Lenardo makes very attractive wines at the small family winery in northern Italy. The high quality is confirmed annually by the most important Italian wine guides, such as the Gambero Rosso, Veronelli and Luca Maroni. The wines of Di Lenardo are extremely pure in smell and taste and confirm the good reputation of Friuli as a special Italian wine region.
Massimo makes this irresistibly delicious white top wine from exclusively hand-picked Chardonnay. After several hours of cold soaking, the juice ferments in small oak casks. The wine then ripens in this for about seven months 'sur lie', so on the yeasts. Massimo's intention is to make a luxurious, rich white wine with clearly recognizable notes of new oak - and he succeeds very well.
The vineyards also improve in quality every year and thus deliver an impressive white wine with a lot of expression. It is not for nothing that the Father's Eyes has been a crowd favorite for years. It goes perfectly with fried or grilled fish, but also convinces without eating it.
