Description
In addition to high-quality Prosecco, Loredan Gasparini also produces a small number of still wines. The house specialty is a dry white wine made from Manzoni Bianco: a cross between Riesling and Pinot Blanc. The grape variety is named after Professor Manzoni who grew the first cuttings in the 1930s. About 10,000 hectares are now planted in Italy. Manzoni Bianco combines the full, round taste of Pinot Blanc with the fresh character of Riesling. Wonderful to drink young.
