Château Cesseras La Livinière
Dark red French wine with the scent of dark fruit, herbs and oak. The flavor is full and powerful and goes well with hare or lamb stews. Also delicious with cheese and baguette.
From the best winemaker in the Minervois region
Pierre-André Ournac can count itself among the top of the Minervois region with its best red wine. The vineyard, planted with 70% Syrah grapes, is located in the grand cru area of La Livinière. This is the highest and therefore cooler part of Minervois and one of the very best terroirs in the Languedoc.
Although concentrated and powerful, the wine has ripe and soft tannins and a refined freshness in taste. This is partly due to the cool location of the vineyard and the associated long, even ripening of the grapes.
This special red wine matures for approximately twelve months in small oak barrels, partly new and used for one to two years. This gives a seductive, subdued dose of wood. A beautiful glass for the lover of characteristic Syrah-dominated wines. Excellent southern French quality.

What do we think?: | Rob: Dark red wine with the powerful scent of dark fruit, spiciness and notes of oak. The taste is powerful and full, but ends smoothly. |
