Full red in color and spicy fruity in smell, with nuances of ripe cherries and flint aroma. The full, round taste is long and fragrant, with spicy tannins in the aftertaste.

Nerello Mascalese

The Burgundy of the Mediterranean is how owner Marco de Grazia characterizes his refined mineral Sicilian wines from slope vineyards on the northern flank of the Etna volcano. The altitude provides cooling and refinement to the wines. The organic planting and the ambition to produce top quality force Marco to low yields so that the native grapes have a beautiful expression. The approximately 10 hectare Santo Spirito vineyard has a deep, rich volcanic soil and is therefore somewhat more productive than the other crus. Nevertheless, this red wine, matured in oak barrels for 16 months, has a beautiful concentration with a full, round flavor structure. A seductive Etna rosso of high quality.
