Italian red wine made from sangiovese grapes. The aging in oak gives this wine a spicy aroma and a full juicy taste. Delicious to drink as it is or with various starters and main courses.

In addition to the numerous designations of origin with the status DOC (Denominazione de Origine Controllata), many regional wines can be found in Italy. In this IGT class (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) the choice of grape varieties for the winegrower is more extensive. The Colline Teatine is actually located in Abruzzo. Only the Montepulciano grape may be used for the red DOC wines. They often taste a bit tannic and rustic. However, this red wine is made entirely from the Sangiovese grape. The fermentation was followed by a short maturation in oak casks. The beautiful ripeness of the Sangiovese grape in Abruzzo and the oak maturing give a delicious full red wine that is very drinkable thanks to a limited alcohol content.
