Masseria Frattasi Greco
Characteristic fresh dry white wine from the Greco grape, one of the specialties of Campania. Biodynamic.
Hubrecht Duijker calls it the "find of the month"
Masseria Frattasi is a small wine estate in the hinterland of Naples in Campania. Owner Pasquale Clemente grows native grape varieties in a biodynamic way on high vineyards. The area around the town of Benevento is calcareous and volcanic. In combination with the coolness in the vineyard, this ensures that the wines have a wonderful freshness, despite their southern Italian origin.
The Greco (the Greek) is a very characteristic grape for this region. The volcanic soil produces a beautiful crisp white wine that is bottled by Pasquale Clemente without aging in wood.
