Lassalle Graves
French red wine with the scent of ripe red fruit - such as blueberries and blackberries - and an oak nuance. The taste is full and soft. Beautiful wine with many (meat) dishes from the grill or game dishes.
Bordeaux, Château Lassalle
Every now and then we come across beautiful wines in Bordeaux that have not yet made a name for themselves and are therefore still very affordable. A striking example of this is the convincing wine from the small Château Lassalle. We and our customers were extremely enthusiastic when we introduced this delicious red Bordeaux from the underexposed Graves wine region.
The small-scale company of Perrine and Fabien Lalanne can clearly compete with many big and expensive names in terms of quality. The Lalanne couple only makes 20,000 bottles of this cuvée from 50% cabernet and 50% merlot grapes. Additional complexity comes from the twelve months of maturation in oak barrels, a third of which is renewed annually. This is a beautiful red Graves for a very modest amount!
