The bio Cru of Gaillard
Château Gaillard with its vineyard of approximately 20 hectares has been in the same family since 1787. The vineyard has approximately 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes. At Château Gaillard, they work with respect for nature. This is evident from the fact that no chemicals are used in the vineyard. After fermentation, maturation follows in partly new oak barrels. The winemaker is Monsieur Nouvel, who is assisted by his daughter, who graduated in oenology. She is responsible for the investments made in modern winemaking equipment in recent years.
