Information
Near the town of Seddon, in the Awatare Valley (Marlborough) are the beautiful vineyards of Eradus Wines. The microclimate (little rain, lots of sun and cool nights in summer) and the soil are ideal for the specific character of the New Zealand wines. The poor rocky soil provides the typical minerality and grassy notes.
In 2004, Michiel Eradus, together with his wife Hanna, took over the domain from his father Har, who started the winery in 1982 after emigrating from the Netherlands. The production comes from the 12 hectares of its own vineyards (pinot noir, sauvignon blanc and pinot gris).

A rich nose with notes of citrus, freshly cut grass, gooseberries and peach. The taste is mouth-filling, complex, juicy and mineral and the long aftertaste is fresh and pure. In short, an optimally ripe wine that is completely balanced. To be consumed between now and 18 months.

Gedronken in een restaurant en toch maar even opgezocht. Snel in huis en ook daar veel hij niet tegen!
