Information
good Grauburgunder, competes with Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio
accessiblely priced white from top winegrower Stefan Winter
excels in purity and freshness
delicious drinks wine, best tasting up to 2 years after harvest

Delicious Pinot Gris in a slim bottle

Fragrant German white wine with a seductive aroma of ripe white fruit and flowers. Powerful and full of flavour. Original aperitif but also very tasty with sauerkraut, freshwater fish or spicy Asian dishes.

White wine from the Rheinhessen

Winemaker Stefan Winter gained experience in his younger years with two famous German producers Bassermann-Jordan and Keller. According to the trade magazine Vinum, he apparently paid close attention. Because his wines have been convincing since the first harvest in 2000, when Stefan joined the parental company.

His white wines are now among the top in Germany. This fact was crowned in 2013 with inclusion in the exclusive company of the VDP (Vereinigung Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter). The calcareous soil around the village of Dittelsheim provides a fine minerality and a distinct taste.

Winter works organically, but not for marketing reasons. That is why he does not apply for certification. His 'entry-level' Riesling is of exemplary quality and - considering the prices of comparable wines - a bargain!
