With its concentrated tannins , it is a full -bodied wine with a fine aroma of intense dark plums and blackberries with a hint of chocolate. In the mouth it has a good freshness with well integrated dark fruits.

In recent decades, Niepoort's philosophy has been to innovate, diversify and break taboos. The Junior Ruby undergoes an early filling, and spends the rest of its time in the bottle, where it is protected from outside influences. This process optimally preserves the youthfulness, dark color, freshness and dark fruit aromas and flavors.
