Tasting note Winter Weissburgunder-Chardonnay

Seductively fresh German dry white wine with a juicy, refined and full taste. Irresistibly delicious! Delicious with grilled fish and poultry.

Description

Stefan Winter makes an irresistibly delicious blend of his oak-matured Weissburgunder and chardonnay. He picks the grapes from his own vineyards by hand and then makes the first quality selection. After harvest, the grapes ferment spontaneously, without the addition of external yeast. Is his Burgundy lookalike a serious challenger to the big names in the Côte de Beaune? There is definitely a similarity in the level of finesse and purity, but Winter makes a distinctive, more light-hearted version. With a beautiful taste balance between crisp freshness of cool-climate Chardonnay and seductive juiciness of Weissburgunder. Drinks faster than a classic white Burgundy and very competitive in price.
