Best sparkling wine in Germany; what an honor and recognition for the new winemaker Matthieu Kauffmann! After his switch from the renowned champagne house Bollinger to Von Buhl in 2014, he energetically started a program to raise the quality of the Von Buhl sekt to the highest level. For example, by maturing only the very best wines and using these reserve wines as an addition to the blend, just as he was used to doing in Champagne. This beautiful sect is a good example of it. Smells and tastes like a nice champagne but costs half as much.
