Original oak-aged Spanish red wine with an intense aroma of vanilla oak, sweet red fruit and caramel. The taste is soft, smooth and elegant. Delicious with various rich meat dishes and poultry.
Description
Juan Antonio Fernández and his daughter Béatriz make one of the most attractive wines from the small Toro wine region near Salamanca in western Spain. With only about fifty producers, Toro has become known in the past decade for its powerful but often tannic wines.
The Liberalia Cero is of a different caliber and, in addition to strength, also has a lot of roundness. The secret behind this intense red wine that can be enjoyed young? Not only the maturation but also the fermentation takes place in small new oak barrels of American origin. This new method of winemaking vinifi cation intégrale delivers a great blend of fruit roundness, aromatic intensity and seductive oak notes. It is the most successful wine from this small bodega. Highly recommended.
