Description
The name Manincor means 'with their hand on their heart' and that is exactly how Count and Countess (Contessa) Michael and Sophie Goëss-Enzenberg work at this special wine estate. The couple are avid supporters of biodynamics and pay a lot of attention to the work in the vineyards. They also work extremely conscientiously in the cellar. And you can taste that in their impressive, flawless wines.

Take this beautiful Réserve della Contessa, an original blend of Weissburgunder, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Two-thirds of the grapes are harvested in the warmer Lieben Aich vineyard in Terlan, which is characterized by a sandy soil. A third is picked in the cooler Campan vineyard in Kaltern, where the soil consists of a mix of loam and lime.

This combination of grapes from different microclimates and terroirs creates layering and a beautiful balance between freshness and ripeness in the final wine. Once picked, the grapes ferment with the grape's own yeasts in oak barrels. The wine then matures for another nine months in contact with the precipitated yeast residues for extra filling and depth of flavor.

The result is a beautifully pure white wine with notes of ripe apple, peach and a hint of green herbs. The taste is both juicy and refreshing as well as mild and rich, which makes it particularly suitable for the table. Combine it, for example, with poached fish, dishes with white meat, or creamy, soft cheeses. Enjoy while standing!

Fresh and full dry white wine with a fine aroma of fresh citrus notes, apple and some peach. The taste is juicy and fresh in structure and ends aromatically.

Shelf life
