Cà del Magro, the tre bicchieri champion of Monte del Frà, is one of our most successful Italian white wines with a phenomenal price-quality ratio. We asked Marica Bonomo and her talented young winemaker Elia Bartolomai to make a more luxurious, oak-aged version based on the same grape composition. To this end, they selected top-quality grapes in Bagolina.

This vineyard is the highest in the village of Custoza and is located next to the famous Cà del Magro. About 70% of the harvest matured for nine months in used French oak barrels, the remainder remained in the concrete tank on the yeast cells. The final assembly is fantastic! The beautiful, full flavor of the garganega, chardonnay and cortese is nicely rounded off with a touch of luxurious oak. The Moregno is very refined in taste and has length and strength.

This makes this new winner from Monte del Frà extremely suitable at the table with delicate dishes. Also impressive as a chic aperitif.
