France

Of course France remains the wine country par excellence. Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne are known all over the world. Renowned wine connoisseur and writer of many books Jancis Robinson describes it perhaps as well: 'It would be impossible to think of France without wine.'

It is precisely these quirky vintners who produce surprisingly beautiful and affordable wines. The combination between the large Chateau's and the idiosyncratic winemakers makes France so interesting.
