Description
Revancha is the project of Roberto de la Mota and his son Rodrigo. Roberto is the son of the great Argentinian winemaker Raúl de la Mota and is also the winemaker of the renowned Argentinian domain Mendel Wines. His son Rodrigo graduated in agriculture.

The Peon Malbec is a great introduction to this talented duo. The grapes – Malbec with a splash of Cabernet Franc for an aromatic lift and extra freshness – come from Altamira, top terroir in the emerging Valle de Uco in Mendoza. The vineyard is located at an altitude of 1100 meters, on the foothills of the Andes. The grapes are picked by hand.

Once fermented, it is matured for twelve months, half in stainless steel tanks and half in French oak barrels. This ensures that the wine retains its pure character.

The Peon has an expressive scent, with floral notes, dark fruit (plum, blackberry) and a hint of black pepper. The taste is full and ripe, with supple tannins, balanced freshness and a persistent aftertaste. A beauty of a Malbec, which is more than worth discovering!

Drink with
Seductive, intense red wine to enjoy solo or with spicy dishes. Delicious with chili sin carne, empanadas, tacos with seasoned minced meat or steak with pepper salsa.

Tasting note
Deep ruby red wine with a refined scent of cherry, plum, blackcurrant and cedar. The taste is full of ripe fruit, balanced acidity and supple tannins. Elegant aftertaste with nuances of pepper and laurel.

Shelf life
Now beautiful and keeps well for at least six years after harvest.
