Veloce Pinot Noir is the revolutionary red Burgundy glass from the famous Austrian glassblower Riedel. The glass is perfect for a wide range of elegant, lighter red wines. Think Burgundy and high-end Pinot from the rest of Europe and the New World, but also Beaujolais Cru, Nebbiolo from Piemonte and red Etna.

Riedel's Veloce series is the result of a clever piece of technology. The glasses are machine-made, but feel as if they were mouth-blown. Feather-light and wafer-thin, they sit wonderfully in the hand and you hardly notice it when you put them to your lips.


Riedel has also come up with a new trick for this series: the grape variety is stated on the foot of the glass. This way you can see at a glance which glass you need to take out of the cupboard for which purpose.

And the name Veloce? It refers to the ever-faster developing technology, which now allows machines to virtually imitate the craft of glassblowing. A good thing, because it makes the production process a lot more efficient
