Your special attention please for the Spanish Albariño. This wonderfully fresh, mineral white wine from cool Galicia not only fits perfectly with fish and shellfish. It is also particularly tasty with white asparagus, or esparragos blancos, as the Spaniards say. Of course not to be missed is the asparagus classic: Pinot Blanc. This year we opted for the energetic German version of this wine, the Weissburgunder by Stefan Winter. Do you go for an Italian preparation with pasta or risotto for example? Then try the Vermentino. Incorrectly undervalued, because it is fantastic!
