Description
The Rueda wine region is located just north of Madrid and specializes in making fresh, aromatically expressive white wines. Many producers make comparable wines, but the bodegas that distinguish themselves mainly do so with wines from their own vineyards. Such as Castelo de Medina, a hypermodern bodega with its own vineyards that are very carefully managed and located close to the cellars. This means that very little time is needed to quickly transport the picked grapes to the fermentation vats. Essential for preserving the delicate grape aromas. The expressive and pure-scented Vega del Pas is made from 50% sauvignon and 50% verdejo grapes; the two most planted varieties that have given this wine region a good reputation.

Pairs well with cold starters, salads or lightly seasoned fish.

Tasting note
Light fruity dry white wine with apple and melon in the aroma. The taste starts juicy and ends with a fresh aftertaste.
